Alicante Airport to Benidorm, Altea & Calpe: Best Ways to Travel

If you prefer not to hire a car, there are several easy ways from the airport to the coastal towns north of Alicante.

Private transfer (best for families & groups)

A driver meets you in arrivals. Fixed price, no surprises — often cheaper than a regular taxi for 3–4 people.

Bus (ALSA)

Direct services from the terminal to Benidorm, Altea and Calpe several times a day. Cheap, but you need to match the timetable.

TRAM (via Alicante city centre)

Take the airport bus to Plaza de los Luceros first, then enjoy a scenic coastal tram ride.
