Benissa Old Town After the Beach Strip Cools
Oppdatert 2026 · Blanca Guide reiseguide
Benissa has a beach strip and a hill town. Most visitors only see the coast road. The old town is the quieter half, and it works best after the heat drops.
1. Park below the tight lanes
Leave the car on a wider street or signed lot under the old town. The lanes up to the church are for walking. Circling for a doorstep space wastes the evening.
2. Evening is the point
- Stone streets hold heat at midday
- After 18:00 the shade and restaurants open up
- It is a stroll and a drink, not a museum checklist
3. Do not confuse it with the beach road
Benissa’s coastal apartments sit on a different plan. If your map says playa, you are not in the casco antiguo. Climb inland for the church square.
Bottom line
Park once under Benissa’s old town, walk the lanes in the evening, leave. It is the inland quiet between Calpe and Moraira — not another beach stop.
