Denia by Tram Means Changing at Benidorm

Dénia is on the tram map. It is not one seat from Alicante. The change at Benidorm is the whole trick.

1. L1, then L9

Line 1 from Alicante-Luceros gets you to Benidorm. Dénia is line 9 from Benidorm. Plan the connection before you leave Luceros, not on the platform when the board has already moved on.

2. Walk from the Dénia station

The station is close enough to the harbour for a fish lunch and a look at the castle base. A hire car for that loop mostly buys you a parking search.

3. Do not miss the L9

• Check the line 9 time while you are still in Benidorm
• A missed connection turns lunch into a station wait
• The ride back is the same change, in reverse

Luceros on L1, change at Benidorm onto L9, walk from Dénia station. The car can stay where it is.
